早朝の田舎道を走っていると、
黒い羽根のトンボが、ゆっくり飛んでいます。
気持ちよさそうだなぁと思ってみていると、車のフロントガラスのところへやってきます。
あ～ぶつかる、と思った瞬間ふわりと上の方へ流れていきました。
アブとかハチだったらぶつかったかな。
トンボがふわりと逃げられたのは、体に比べて大きな羽があったからです。
車に沿って流れる気流に、その大きな羽がうまく乗ったのです。
飛ぶ速さも遅く、特別武器を持ってないトンボは
鳥の攻撃からそうやって身を守る機能を備えているのです。
持って生まれた形状で、生き延びるすべを備えているのですね。
人も同じように、それぞれ個性を持っています。
ほかの人にない何かを備えています。
その何かに気づき、その長所を生かせるような生き方を
子どもたちと探したいと思います。
